<p>The Tactosy series devices come in pairs, so you need to specify the left and right sides for each device. If necessary, you can switch the left and right sides of each device. </p>

<p>The wireless Audio-to-Haptics generates haptic feedback based on the characteristics of audio signals such as audio volume, tempo, and more. Therefore, if the audio volume is high, the haptic feedback is more intense, and the haptic feedback is delivered when audio signal is received.</p>



<p>However, you can manipulate the haptic feedback intensity and audio-feedback sync if you want. </p>

<p>Audio-to-Haptics profile is a kind of setting that defines which audio signals would be converted into haptic feedback. It means that depending on the profile you choose, the Audio-to-Haptic experience for the same content can vary.</p>



<p>Therefore, selecting the profile that fits your content is the key for the best Audio-to-Haptic experience. </p>

<p><strong>Important Note on Connectivity</strong></p>



<p>After pairing with Meta Quest, your bHaptics device may appear to disconnect; this is normal. It will automatically reconnect when you launch a compatible game. This behavior is typical as the device connects directly to the game to provide haptic feedback.<br></p>

If available, ensure this option is turned on to receive haptic feedback. This setting is added directly by the game developer, so its location and naming may vary depending on the game.</p>

Set automatic power-off of TactSuit X40


<p>If an audio cable is connected to TactSuit X40 for Wired Audio-to-Haptic, the audio signal input through the audio cable has priority, and all other signals are ignored. </p>



<p>So, if you play Natively Supported Content while an audio cable is connected to TactSuit X40, it will deliver haptic feedback automatically converted from the audio signal instead of the embedded haptics. </p>



<p>Therefore, to enjoy Natively Supported Content, you have to disconnect an audio cable from the TactSuit X40, but for your convenience, we provide &#8220;DISABLE Audio-to-Haptic&#8221; option.</p>

<p>To prevent accidental turning off of TactSuit X40 while sitting in a chair, you can lock the power button of the device via bHaptics Player. Once the &#8220;Button Lock&#8221; option is enabled, the power button will not work until the device is unpaired. </p>



<p>To turn off the device when the button lock is enabled, unpair the device first, ahd then press the power button. </p>

<p>You can pair the TactSuit X40 to your mobile phone using bHaptics Player mobile app and Bluetooth. To pair your device, please follow these steps:</p>

<li>Turn on your bHaptics device(s). * The LED on each device should blink blue to indicate that it is in scanning and pairing mode.</li>



<li>When a new device is detected, tap the “<strong>Pair</strong>” button to connect. Once paired, it will appear in the connected menu.</li>



<li>Tap the “<strong>Vibration</strong>” button to check if the device is properly connected and if the haptics are functioning correctly.</li>

<p>The main part of any bHaptics device, which includes electric motors and wires, cannot be washed under any circumstances. If contamination occurs, gently wipe the affected area with a soft cloth.</p>

How do I check my TactSuit information? (e.g. Battery Status, Firmware, etc.)

<p>You can go as far as 10M in a normal environment, but it is heavily dependent on your environment.<br />
 It could be further when a line-of-the-sight between the dongle and devices is secured, but shorter when there is heavy wireless signal disturbance.</p>


How far can you go away from Bluetooth source?

<p>It depends on your wireless environment; however, in a normal office setting, the latency is less than 20ms (99th percentile). You wouldn’t be able to notice latency when playing games.</p>


Is there a possibility that Bluetooth latency or interference occurs?

<p>You can use one Bluetooth dongle to connect multiple bHaptics devices; however, due to Windows protocols, you can connect up to 5 Bluetooth devices at a time.<br />
 Each arm/hand/foot device is considered as one Bluetooth device; therefore, you cannot use all TactSuit devices together at once.<br />
 An accessory that will allow you connect all the devices together is currently under development. If you are a business client and would like to connect more than 5 bHaptics devices at the same time, please contact <a href="mailto:support@bhaptics.com">bHaptics Support Team</a>.</p>


How many TactSuit devices can I connect using the provided Bluetooth dongle?

<p>At large events and exhibitions where there is an extreme amount of Wi-Fi signals, it is possible that the Bluetooth connection becomes unstable.<br />
You can secure the Bluetooth connection by turning on the <b>Stable Connection</b> on bHaptics Player.</p>

 Open Device Manager on your PC, expand the Bluetooth branch, and check if you see all 3 of the following drivers:<br />

  &#8211; Bluetooth LE enumerator</p>
<p> <b>If you see all of the items above, </b>please make sure you have the latest version of the bHaptics Player installed on your PC. <p>The TactSuit works with Windows Mixed Reality headsets.<br />
 In normal circumstances and environments, such as a show room, office, and home environments, you will have no issues using your WMR controllers and TactSuit together. However, you may experience interference when using them together in a crowded environment, such as exhibitions and trade shows, where there are lots of strong Wi-Fi signals.</p>


Will my TactSuit interfere with WMR controller tracking because of Bluetooth?

<p>Bluetooth connection between bHaptics devices and consoles is currently not supported.</p>

<p>If you have exeprienced Bluetooth issues, you can resolve them using the Bluetooth Troubleshooting feature on bHaptics Player. </p>



<p>To troubleshoot Bluetooth issues:</p>

<li>Open the bHaptics Player on your Windows PC. </li>



<li>Click the &#8220;?&#8221; icon located on the top-right menu bar. </li>



<li>From the dropdown menu, select &#8220;Bluetooth Troubleshooting.&#8221;</li>



<li>Select &#8220;I&#8217;m an Experienced User&#8221; &gt; &#8220;I have Bluetooth issues and want to troubleshoot&#8221;. </li>
</ol>



<p>Then bHaptics Player will then assess your PC&#8217;s current Bluetooth settings and provide guide for your case. </p>

<p>If you wish to switch to the provied dongle, disable the current dongle in Device Manger &gt; Bluetooth Settings, and insert the provided dongle to your Windows PC.  </p>



<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">If the provided dongle id detected but disabled</span></strong>, due to another Bluetooth dongle being in use, you can choose to either use the existing Bluetooth dongle or switch to the provided dongle. </p>



<p>If you choose to switch to the provided dongle, wish to switch to the provided dongle, disable the current dongle in Device Manager &gt; Bluetooth Settings. After that, unplug and replug the provided dongle back into the USB port. </p>

<p>Also, you can change the background opacity of the visualizer and the color of the activated feedback point as your preference. </p>



<p>If you want to use a visualizer for your gameplay video, we recommend you to set background opacity to 0 and choose Yellow for the feedback points. You can also customize feedback point color as you want. </p>
