Different types of bHaptics support
- product
We get asked a lot about how games are supported and when support is coming for new games. So we thought it would be good to break down how it works!

Our game support is divided into three types:
-
Native Support**:** This means haptic feedback is directly integrated by the game developers and responds to in-game events. With native support, you simply connect your bHaptics to your PC or headset via Bluetooth to enjoy immersive haptics seamlessly.,

Natively Supported Content refers to games and applications specifically optimized to fully integrate with our haptic feedback technology.
When you play Natively Supported Content, you’ll experience enhanced haptic feedback, fine-tuned to align with in-game events. This allows you to feel in-game actions, emotions, and excitement like never before, creating a truly immersive and unforgettable gaming experience!
You can check out all our Native Support games here.
- Mod Support**:** Mods are also designed to respond to in-game events, but unlike Native Support these are not made by the developers. Some mods are made by our community, and some are made by us. There are limitations with which games can be supported this way, there can be Platform or Developer restrictions. For example, some Developers do not allow mods in their games because it interferes with their anti-cheat.

You can check out all our Official Mod Support games here.

You can check out all our Official Mod Support games here. If you’re interested in creating a mod for a game, we recommend joining our Discord to talk to other community members who are creating mods!
- Audio-to-Haptics**:** For games without Native or Mod support there is the Audio-to-Haptics feature! This connects to games, and YouTube to give you haptic feedback when enjoying your content!
Unlike Native or Mod support where the haptic feedback is based on in-game actions. The haptic feedback is based audio signals. You can create your own Haptic Profiles for each game to customize your experience. Or you can download existing Haptic Profiles created by other community members in the Explore tab of the bHaptics Player under Audio-to-Haptics.
💡 Types of Audio-to-Haptics
- Wired Audio-to-Haptics – Available for all platforms and requires a wired connection for TactSuit vests.
- Wireless Audio-to-Haptics – Available only for Windows PC, allowing Audio-to-Haptics to work over a wireless connection for TactSuit vests and TactSleeve.
